Mar House

Casa Mar is located in the Elviria urbanization, in the city of Marbella. This single-story home is based on a functional design, aiming for fluidity between interior spaces and the comfort of its users.

The topography of the plot has played a key role in the design of the house. To optimize this, the home is positioned at the highest point of the plot, and through a system of different platforms, a greater connection with the terrain is achieved, allowing for multiple direct access points to the garden.

The single-story design allows nature to flow seamlessly into the home, making the outdoor space an extension of the interior. Together with the different platforms, this provides the home with varied outdoor living areas.

During the design process, local materials were used, incorporating Mediterranean tones and quarry stone, which are hallmarks of Mediterranean architecture.
